Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Regulatory Operations Project Manager for the EMEA region. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Legal and Public Policy to operationalise evolving regulations and drive compliant product and process improvements.

You will partner with multiple teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable roadmaps, own cross‑functional programs across time zones, and deliver high‑impact insights to executive leadership while maintaining strong

• Experience spanning Operations, Management Consulting, Project/Programme Management or Regulatory Operations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance operations with UK exposure and willingness to expand in EMEA.
• Comfort working in evolving regulatory environments and translating rules into actions.
• Proven ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders toward a common plan.
• Data-driven problem solving; SQL knowledge is advantageous.

Regulatory Operations Project Manager - Tech Platform (EMEA)

Remote working/onsite 1-2 times per month in London | £350-450pd Inside IR35 | Initial 12 month contract

Are you an experienced operations or programme specialist who excels at translating complex, shifting regulations into real-world product and operational solutions?

We are partnering with a global, market-leading tech platform to hire a Regulatory Operations Project Manager covering the EMEA region.

Sitting at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Legal and Public Policy, you will serve as the operational anchor for compliance across key European markets. This is an end-to-end, high-impact position where you will take ownership of regulatory frameworks, such as evolving short-term rental laws, data-sharing obligations and regional API requirements, to ensure seamless compliance while supporting business growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Act as the accountable owner for operationalising new and emerging regulations across major European markets.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Policy and Supply/Demand teams to translate legal and policy requirements into actionable technical and operational roadmaps.
• Work alongside engineering teams to ensure products comply with local laws, bringing clarity, structure and direction to ambiguous regulatory grey areas.
• Establish operational rhythms, coordinate cross-functional projects across multiple time zones and deliver regular, high-visibility insights to executive leadership.
• Continuously test and refine compliance programs to boost efficiency, mitigate risk and maintain a trusted environment for global users.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Professional experience spanning Operations, Management Consulting, Project/Programme Management or Regulatory Operations within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Strong foundational understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance operations (UK regulatory experience with an appetite to expand across EMEA is welcome).
• Comfortable operating in grey areas where regulations are evolving quickly and solutions require scrappiness, critical thinking and structured execution.
• Proven track record of bringing disparate teams along, especially technical (Product/Engineering) and non-technical (Policy/Legal) stakeholders.
• Strong data-driven problem-solving capability (experience with SQL is a strong advantage, though not mandatory).
