Job Title: Regulatory Manager– Cosmetics

Job Type: Full-time, permanent position

Location: Cheshire East district, UK – Full-time office-based positions

Cpl is collaborating with a growing beauty and skincare company with a large customer base, including high street retailers, online fashion retailers, and licensed products, focusing on colour cosmetics, skincare, hair care, body care, and fragrances.

The business seeks a Senior Regulatory Affairs Leader to join a dynamic team in Northwest England, overseeing the design, manufacturing, and compliance of cosmetic products from concept to delivery.

As Regulatory Manager, you will join the Regulatory Compliance Team of 9, reporting to the Head of Regulatory, Technical & Quality. You will lead the regulatory compliance efforts, manage technical compliance for retail partners and products, and collaborate with NPD and manufacturing teams to ensure global market compliance.

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first contact for regulatory inquiries.
• Communicate complex regulatory requirements effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for product artworks and marketing messages globally.
• Assist in developing and implementing global regulatory strategies.
• Support NPD in claims and testing to ensure legality and maximization.
• Maintain knowledge of global regulations for agility and compliance.
• Develop safe, compliant products, advising on ingredients and external consultants.
• Prepare technical documentation for submissions, licensing, and changes.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
