Job summary

Financial Conduct Authority is seeking a Cryptoasset Implementation Specialist on a fixed-term basis to support the Enforcement & Market Oversight division, Primary Market Oversight. The role involves coordinating training, monitoring regimes, responding to inquiries, and guiding crypto asset registrations within the TOM framework across London and other offices.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UK MAR, MARC, A&D, and the UK primary market landscape, along with regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience in UK financial markets gained in a financial services firm, trading venue, regulator or consultancy.
• Experience supporting implementation of new or changing regulatory/policy requirements and training colleagues.
• Experience working on cryptoassets or cryptoasset products.

Responsibilities

• Assist teams to prepare for the new regime and coordinate training.
• Familiarise with regime requirements relevant to each team.
• Incorporate initial approach into teams' risk appetites.
• Set up/amend monitoring and dashboards for regime instruments.
• Review applications and respond to CATPs on admissions, disclosures and market abuse.
• Triaging and responding to inquiries on potential non-compliance by CATPs, issuers and investors.
• Support Listings for CARE implementation and build expertise in TOM and related tech platforms.
• Act as business product owner for crypto registrations and related queries.
