Job summary

UK Regulators' cryptoasset implementation specialist role is a fixed-term position designed to guide teams through the new regime, ensuring compliance, monitoring and proper registrations. You will coordinate training, assess risk appetites, and support listings and related processes to transition into business-as-usual operations.

The role focuses on coordinating responses to CATPs and issuers, handling inquiries on regime compliance, and owning crypto registration queries to maintain

Responsibilities

• Assisting teams to prepare for the new regime and coordinate ongoing training.
• Familiarisation with regime requirements relevant to each team’s remit.
• Incorporation of initial approach into teams’ risk appetites.
• Setting up or amending monitoring and dashboards to identify instruments admitted under regime.
• Reviewing applications and responding to queries from Cryptoasset Trading Platforms (CATPs) on admissions, disclosures and market abuse aspects.
• Triaging, assessing and responding to enquiries on potential non-compliance of rules by CATPs, issuers and investors.
• Primary support to Listings for CARE implementation, building expertise in the TOM, operational processes and supporting technology platforms to ensure a smooth transition into business-as-usual.
• Business product owner for crypto registrations and related queries.
