Regulatory Compliance Manager

Permanent, Part-Time

Manchester or Birmingham – Hybrid

Meraki Talent are seeking a part-time Regulatory Compliance Manager to join a dynamic and expanding organisation. Based in either Birmingham or Manchester, you’ll be working closely with senior leadership to ensure the business operates within relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

This is a hands-on role for someone with a deep understanding of compliance within financial, legal, or accountancy sectors. You’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing policies, assessing and mitigating risks, and promoting a culture of integrity and accountability.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the identification and mitigation of potential compliance risks through regular assessments and strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain internal compliance procedures that align with industry regulations such as anti-money laundering (AML) laws and professional standards.
  • Carry out periodic internal audits and ensure documentation and practices remain fully compliant.
  • Oversee due diligence and ongoing monitoring of client activities to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver compliance training sessions and foster a company-wide commitment to ethical business practices.

To be considered, you must have:

  • Background in a compliance role within the financial, legal, or accountancy sectors
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies and frameworks (e.g. AML regulations, ethical codes, data privacy laws)
  • Strong working knowledge of compliance regulations relevant to financial services, tax or accountancy environments.
  • A thorough, methodical approach with strong attention to detail in monitoring and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly.
