Job summary

Kroo Bank is seeking a Compliance Manager to support the compliance function across a fast-growing, regulated fintech. You will help ensure regulatory adherence and advise product teams.

You’ll lead regulatory analysis, develop policies with the CRO and Head of Compliance, and cultivate a customer-centric culture while promoting transparency and accountability. The role covers complaints handling, Treating Customers Fairly, data protection, and ongoing updates to policies to reflect regulatory

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across various facets of the Compliance function, including conduct risk, consumer credit regulations, payments, complaints handling (with expertise in dealing with the Financial Ombudsman Service), Treating Customers Fairly, conflicts of interest, financial promotions, anti-bribery and corruption, data protection, and other related areas.
• Regulatory compliance experience in the banking sector and knowledge of SMCR.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Analysis and Implementation: Collaborate with the Head of Compliance to analyse and interpret relevant regulations and implement requirements.
• Complaints, TCF, and Vulnerable Customers Framework: Advise to ensure frameworks address customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Product Team Collaboration: Partner with product teams to integrate compliance into banking and lending products and services.
• Customer-Centric Culture: Promote a customer-centric approach within compliance and the organisation.
• Policy Development and Improvement: Support CRO and Head of Compliance in updating policies and developing new ones in response to changes.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned; participate in training; represent the function in meetings.
