The Opportunity

Miller is seeking an assistant to join the central Company Secretarial and Governance team based in London. This team supports group companies with governance and company secretarial tasks. The role involves providing administrative and organizational support, including:

  1. Assisting in preparing for meetings of group company Boards of Directors, governance forums, Committees, and Business Unit management meetings. This includes creating meeting packs, liaising with report preparers, collating papers, and using online meeting management software, preferably Diligent.
  2. Supporting the implementation of internal administrative processes and documentation to ensure departmental efficiency.
  3. Maintaining statutory records of group companies at Companies House and overseas bodies, including preparing documentation and submitting annual filings.
  4. Supporting the maintenance of governance documentation, organizational charts, and assisting with regulatory applications.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Undergraduate education is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in a similar role within Financial Services is advantageous.
