Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited is seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers for regular night trunking across our network. You will be responsible for depot-to-depot movements, vehicle checks, and accurate transport records, ensuring compliance with transport legislation and safe, efficient deliveries.

Joining the team means contributing to a well-established logistics operation with stable night shifts, modern fleet, PPE, and ongoing transport team support.

Qualifications

• HGV CE licence required.
• CE driving experience (min. 12 months).
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Penalty points on licence not more than six.
• Familiarity with Drivers' Hours Regulations and tachograph requirements.
• Commitment to safety and vehicle care.

Responsibilities

• Depot-to-depot trunking with scheduled movements between depots and distribution centres.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections and complete transport records.
• Adhere to all relevant transport legislation and tachograph rules.
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition and practice safe working methods.
• Support the smooth running of the transport function and reporting.

Looking for Regular Day Work?

We're seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers to join our Logistics team.

This is a night trunking position involving scheduled movements between company depots and distribution centres. You will play an important part in keeping stock moving across our network, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

What Does the Role Involve?

The position centres on depot-to-depot trunking, supported by routine vehicle inspections, accurate completion of transport records, and adherence to all relevant transport legislation. You'll be expected to take pride in the condition of your vehicle, maintain safe working practices, and contribute to the smooth running of the transport function.

To be considered, you'll need to answer "Yes" to the following:

• Are you 23 years of age or older?
• Do you hold a valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence and have at least 12 months' CE driving experience?
• Do you hold a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card?
• Do you have no more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence?
• Are you confident working within Drivers' Hours Regulations and tachograph requirements?
• Do you take a responsible approach to safety, vehicle care, and legal compliance?
