Job description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for teaching to join our team.

About the role

This is a term-time only position working alongside our student nurses to support, guide, and encourage them. You will oversee their training and ensure they complete the required skills outlined in their nursing progress log.

While primarily a clinical coaching role, you will also assist the current team with hospital inpatient care, theatre, pharmacy, and consult shifts.

Clinical coaches must maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, including attending regular standardisation courses and keeping their CPD records current.

You will also be responsible for coordinating and booking suitable work experience applicants and supporting them during their visits to the practice.

Working hours

The minimum requirement is 16.25 hours per week, typically 3 weekdays from 9 am to 2 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm. We can accommodate up to 5-hour days, 4 days a week, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays, totaling 21.25 hours weekly.
