Job description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for teaching to join our team.

About the role

This is a term-time only position to work alongside our student nurses, supporting, guiding, and encouraging them. You will oversee their training and ensure they complete the required skills outlined in their nursing progress log.

While primarily a clinical coaching role, you will also assist the current team with hospital inpatient care, theatre, pharmacy, and consult shifts.

Clinical coaches must have up-to-date knowledge of best practices, including attending regular standardisation courses and maintaining current CPD records.

You will also be responsible for coordinating and booking suitable work experience applicants and supporting them during their visit to the practice.

Working hours

The minimum hours are 16.25 per week, which includes 3 weekdays (9am-2pm) and 1:4 Saturdays (9am-2pm). We can accommodate up to 5-hour days, 4 days a week, plus 1:4 Saturdays, totaling 21.25 hours weekly.
