Leonard Brothers Veterinary Centre is an established three-branch small animal veterinary practice, offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated RVN to join their Whitchurch team on a part-time basis. The practice features a modern, well-equipped facility that fosters a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. On-site parking is available, and the location is within walking distance of the train station.

Meet our experienced team

Our supportive team comprises six Veterinary Surgeons, eight Registered Veterinary Nurses, two Student Veterinary Nurses, and five experienced Receptionists and administrators. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care through our team of experienced vets and nurses, including specialists in Surgery, Medicine, Cardiology, and ECC. We are a friendly, collaborative team that values fun, personality, and a supportive environment for skill development.

The day-to-day

As an RVN at Leonard Brothers Veterinary Centre, your responsibilities will include all aspects of first opinion nursing such as nurse clinics, monitoring anaesthetics, inpatient care, medication administration, radiography, and diagnostic testing, utilizing your Schedule 3 skills. While assisting in all areas of the practice, individual nursing interests are supported and encouraged. We offer excellent career progression and welcome applications from all experience levels. Working pattern

This part-time role involves 24 hours per week over three days. Shift times typically range from 08:30 to 18:30, with days flexible according to your preferences. There is a 1 in 7 Saturday morning rota (09:00-12:30), scheduled annually with swap options among team members.
