We are seeking a Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at Midland Veterinary Surgery, Leyton. Your duties will include working in theatre, Nurse consults, medical nursing (kennels), and assisting the Head Nurse and Vets. Clinical Coach is desirable as we are a training practice. Reception knowledge will be required.
This is a full-time position 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, including a weekend rota working Saturdays from 8:00am to 2:30pm. The earliest start for shifts would be 7:45am, and the latest finish would be 7:30pm. There is no Sunday work and no OOH currently. We are happy to discuss part time hours and flexible working requests.
We are an RCVS-accredited SA practice in Leyton, East London (established in the 1970s). We are fully equipped with a laboratory suite, theatre, radiography, dental x-ray and 3 consulting rooms. We have a visiting ultrasonographer and certificate holder surgeon to help manage more complex cases.
Our team comprises RVNs, 2 care assistants, 5 vets (including 2 part-time Clinical Directors), a reception team and our Practice Manager. Our team are dedicated to delivering the best possible general practice veterinary care and service to patients and clients. We have a visiting ultrasonographer and certificate-holder surgeon to help manage more complex cases.
We are easily accessible from Essex and have excellent transport links into Central London.
We are seeking a friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic RVN. You will already be qualified and ideally have experience with surgery and nurse consultations.
