About the team

Our team has a strong focus on coaching and development. We are looking for someone who enjoys developing others and is willing to help train student veterinary nurses. We encourage personal development (including funding certificates where desired) and a collaborative working culture where ideas are shared and supported. Our tier 3 RCVS accredited hospital provides facilities including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, endoscopy and more. We pride ourselves on clinical excellence while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service to clients. Working hours / rota

You will enjoy a varied rota with a 5‑day week, 8 hour shifts between 7:30 AM and 9:00 PM on a rotating pattern. The role involves working with the inpatient team on a ward shift, covering operations or procedures, and running your own nursing clinics.

You will participate in the weekend day rota, working Saturday and Sunday shifts to support our Emergency Veterinary Service for Rowe clients as well as several other Bristol practices. This is on a 1:6 pattern, with days off the following week to provide a long weekend.

As part of the Rowe team, you will benefit from support from our referral department offering Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Oncology, Imaging, Neurology and Dentistry. We also have an experienced OOH team providing continuity for patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy first opinion practice or be ready to take the next step in their nursing career.
