Strathmore Veterinary Clinic in Andover seeks a qualified veterinary nurse to join a supportive team. The role includes dynamic clinical responsibilities and reception support, with a strong focus on professional development and work-life balance. Benefits include generous leave, CPD allowance, and insurance packages.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time or part-time qualified veterinary nurse to join our growing, close-knit team at Strathmore Vets. Our team comprises 6 nurses, 5 vets, 4 support staff, 1 kennel assistant, and a practice manager.
You’ll be working in a dynamic and stimulating environment where nurses are fully supported and encouraged to perform Schedule 3 tasks. Our nurses run busy nurse clinics and also assist with reception duties when needed, offering a varied and rewarding role.
Why join us?
At Strathmore Vets, we pride ourselves on being a close-knit, supportive team that values work-life balance. We cover our own out-of-hours service on a 1:4 to 1:5 weeknight and weekend rota, with Saturday afternoons and Sundays reserved for emergency cases only-staff are not required to be on-site during these times.
As a highly successful accredited training practice, we are committed to professional development and actively encourage our nurses to undertake clinical coach training.
Beyond the workplace, we believe in fostering strong team spirit and regularly organise staff events throughout the year, giving us the chance to relax and enjoy time together outside of work.
What we are looking for
A qualified veterinary nurse who thrives in a close-knit team and is eager to take on a varied role including clinical duties and reception support. Someone committed to professional development and willing to contribute to our supportive, dynamic practice environment.
