Job description

Our client, a corporately owned veterinary practice, is seeking a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) to join their team. This is a full-time position with a 1:6 weekend rota, and no out-of-hours or on-call duties.

The practice has recently been refurbished, providing a spacious, light-filled environment. You will be supported by a dedicated team, including a Lead Vet with a certification in Medicine, a Head Nurse, and a Practice Manager.

Responsibilities include delivering exceptional patient and client care, supporting surgeries and procedures, managing pre- and post-procedure activities, conducting nurse-led appointments, monitoring patient care, overseeing admissions and discharges, completing patient transfers, dispensing medication, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and operational standards. You will also coordinate team efforts to ensure smooth practice operations.

The ideal candidate is an RCVS-registered veterinary nurse with experience in providing excellent care and supporting nurse consultations. Teamwork skills and the ability to influence colleagues positively are essential. The practice offers on-site parking.
