Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified RVN or experienced Veterinary Nurse to join a dedicated team in Peterborough.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing high-quality nursing care.
• Supporting veterinary surgeons in all aspects of clinical work.
• Communicating effectively with clients regarding their pets' health.
• Participating in a mixture of early shifts (7 am - 3 pm) and late shifts (11 am - 7 pm).
• Assisting with occasional Saturday morning shifts (8 am - 12 pm).

On-Call and Out of Hours (OOH) Care:

The practice provides its own out-of-hours (OOH) emergency care for clients. This would include:

• 5 week nights on-call over an 8-week period.

Requirements:

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification or equivalent experience as a Veterinary Nurse.
• Previous experience in a veterinary nursing role.
• Strong clinical and practical nursing skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both with clients and within the team.
• The ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using veterinary software and equipment.
• A compassionate and caring approach to animal care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
