Job summary

Birch Veterinary Centre in the UK is seeking a passionate and progressive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be part of a close-knit team delivering high-quality nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload, with opportunities to develop your interests.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 40 hours per week over 4 days
• Part‑time applications will be considered over 3 days
• 1 in 5 Saturday rota, working 9:00am to 2:00pm
• No out-of-hours requirements

General Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
• Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
• Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
• Run nurse consultations and preventative healthcare clinics
