Kentdale Referrals is one of the UK's leading small animal referral centres, delivering excellence in veterinary care for over 10 years. We are now looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated night nursing team and play a vital role in providing exceptional inpatient care to our patients.
Our mission is simple: to provide gold-standard veterinary care while creating a better world for pets through compassion, expertise, and teamwork.
Located on the edge of the beautiful Lake District, our specialist-led referral hospital offers advanced surgical services including Orthopaedics, Spinal Surgery, and Soft Tissue Surgery. Our purpose-built facility and highly skilled team provide an outstanding environment for nurses looking to develop their clinical skills within a referral setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build a rewarding career within a friendly, supportive, and professional team committed to delivering the very highest standards of patient care.
We would particularly love to hear from nurses who have a passion for inpatient care, wards nursing, and patient advocacy.
We are currently recruiting for a talented Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to support our patients overnight, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and comfort outside of normal working hours.
This role would suit an individual who thrives on providing dedicated one-to-one patient care and enjoys the unique rewards of overnight nursing. You will be responsible for monitoring and caring for post-operative and hospitalised patients, administering treatments, recognising changes in patient status, and ensuring every patient receives the comfort, attention, and reassurance they need.
Our night nurses play an essential role in patient recovery, providing expert clinical care alongside plenty of TLC to make their stay with us as stress-free as possible.
Previous referral experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training and support will be provided for the successful candidate.
If you are passionate about providing outstanding patient care and would enjoy being a key part of a specialist hospital team overnight, we would love to hear from you.
