Job summary

Oakfield Veterinary Surgery in Tamworth is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our caring team on a full-time fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You’ll deliver high-quality nursing care, support surgeries and diagnostics, and work closely with a multi-disciplinary team across branches in Tamworth, Atherstone and Castle Bromwich.

You should be an RCVS-registered nurse with clinical practice experience, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to maintaining patient

Qualifications

• Registration with the RCVS as a Veterinary Nurse.
• Proven experience in clinical nursing within a practice.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied caseload.
• Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing.
• Provide inpatient care and assist with diagnostics and patient recovery.
• Contribute to patient care development and uphold clinical standards.
