Qualifications

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Alternating shifts 7:30am4:00pm or 12:00pm8:30pm

A leading small animal hospitalis seeking a proactive and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their well-established and supportive clinical team. This is a unique opportunity for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, hospital-based setting, working with varied and often advanced clinical cases.

As a RCVS-accredited Small Animal Hospital with Emergency and Critical Care accreditation, the practice offers an exceptional opportunity for a nurse looking to deepen their clinical skills while contributing meaningfully to the care of inpatients, surgical cases, and emergency patients.

The Role:

Youll be an integral part of a highly experienced and collaborative nursing team, supporting with:

  • Inpatient monitoring and care

  • Surgical support, including pre- and post-operative care

  • Nurse-led consults and Schedule 3 procedures

  • Diagnostic imaging, including radiography and ultrasonography

  • Advanced case exposure including CT, endoscopy, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries

  • Emergency and critical care case support

You will also be involved in supporting and mentoring students and newer team members, helping to maintain a strong clinical and developmental culture within the hospital.

Candidate Requirements:
  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Experience in delivering exceptional inpatient and client care

  • Skilled in nurse consults and clinical efficiency

  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrates a proactive approach and is confident in handling varied caseloads

  • Experience in coaching and influencing colleagues to support a positive work environment
