Oakmount Vets in Burnley is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly practice on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality nursing care across medical and surgical cases and support ongoing development within a collaborative team of vets and nurses.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across a range of medical and surgical cases.
• Run own nurse clinics and welcome/support special interests.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to inpatients and surgical patients.
• Contribute to patient care planning and development of clinical standards.
