We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Oakmount Vets on a full-time basis.
Oakmount is a friendly, first opinion small animal practice that has been caring for the pets of Burnley and surrounding areas for over 25 years. Equipped with modern equipment we have 5 consulting rooms, 2 theatres (orthopaedics and soft tissue), digital x-ray with both vertical and horizontal beam, dental x-ray, ultrasound, in-house blood machines, as well as all the usual equipment. We are ISFM feline friendly practice with aspirations to achieve the Gold status.
You’ll be part of a welcoming and collaborative team that values professional development, patient welfare, and high clinical standards. We are a Veterinary Nurse training practice, and you will work collaboratively with our team of 8 vets, 10 nurses and support staff.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
