Job summary

Ark House Vets - Leighton Buzzard is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time basis. The practice is a single-site clinic near Beds/Bucks border with a supportive team and an RCVS-accredited nurse training program.

You will deliver high-standard nursing care, support surgeries, monitor anaesthesia, and contribute to patient recovery and preventative care within a varied first opinion caseload.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload.
• Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing.
• Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery.
• Run nurse consultations and support preventative healthcare.
