Job summary

Ark House Vets on the Beds/Bucks border is a single-site practice where a caring, registered veterinary nurse is needed on a full-time basis. You’ll join a supportive team delivering gold-standard nursing care to a varied first opinion caseload and supporting excellent client experiences.

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Ark House Vets on a full-time basis.

Ark House Vets is a single-site practice based on the lovely Beds/Bucks border. We are a supportive and friendly team, focused on providing high standards of care for our clients and their pets within the local community.

Our practice ethos is centred around doing the right thing and providing gold-standard care to both pets and clients. You’ll be joining a team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 Front of House colleagues and wider support staff. We are also an RCVS-accredited nurse training practice.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern
  • 36 hours per week, working over 5 days
  • Required to work until 7:00pm at least once per week
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:30am to 1:00pm, Saturday mornings are included within weekly hours
  • No out-of-hours duties
