Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Ark House Vets on a full-time basis. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality nursing care, supporting surgical procedures, and providing excellent client experiences within a supportive team.

You will work across first opinion cases, contribute to clinical standards, and help develop patient care practices in a single-site practice near the Beds/Bucks border. ARC House Vets offers a collaborative, caring environment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Ark House Vets on a full-time basis.

Ark House Vets is a single-site practice based on the lovely Beds/Bucks border. We are a supportive and friendly team, focused on providing high standards of care for our clients and their pets within the local community.

Our practice ethos is centred around doing the right thing and providing gold-standard care to both pets and clients. You’ll be joining a team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 Front of House colleagues and wider support staff. We are also an RCVS-accredited nurse training practice.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 36 hours per week, working over 5 days
• Required to work until 7:00pm at least once per week
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 8:30am to 1:0:??
• No out-of-hours duties

General Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
• Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
• Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
• Run nurse consultations and support preventative healthcare
