Job summary

inspiring vet care in Strathspey is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Aviemore on a full-time basis. You will work across inpatient care, theatre nursing, nurse consultations, and lab work, collaborating with veterinary surgeons and the wider team to maintain high clinical standards and excellent client care.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS is required.
• Experience in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient care and theatre nursing as part of a diverse clinical team.
• Provide nurse consultations and assist with laboratory work.
• Support high standards of patient care and clinical governance.
• Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues to ensure excellent service.
• Collaborate with vets and the wider practice team.
• Contribute to ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
