Axe Valley Vets is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, supportive team across multiple sites in rural Somerset. The role offers 32–40 hours per week with a varied shift pattern, including a weekend rota.

You’ll deliver high-quality nursing care, support clinical standards, and contribute to patient care development. The practice features endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiography and an in-house lab, with a strong team culture and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload.
• Proactive approach to learning, reflection and continuous improvement.
