Job summary

inspiring vet care in Bristol is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our expanding team at Animal House Vets on a full-time basis. The role is primarily at Speedwell with occasional cover at other sites, offering 38 hours per week, 4-day shifts from 8:30 to 18:30, and Saturdays on a 1:4 rota, with no out-of-hours work.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care as an integral member of the clinical team, support surgeons, and contribute to patient welfare across first opinion cases

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Animal House Vets on a full-time basis.

Animal House Vets is Bristol’s group with 4 surgeries in and around Bristol and we are looking to expand our fantastic nursing team due to maternity and plans for continued growth. You will be primarily based at our Speedwell practice, with occasional cover required at our other sites as needed.

We value and empower our friendly nursing team and are looking for someone who is excited to develop their role to its maximum. We are looking for a RVN who is friendly, enjoys being part of a team but also able to work under their own initiative.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

This role is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover position.

Working Pattern

• 38 hours per week
• 4 days - shifts between 8:30 - 18:30
• 1:4 Saturdays
• No out-of-hours requirement
