Job summary

Vets for Pets in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small animal practice at Stechford, inside a Pets at Home store. You will admit patients, monitor anaesthetics, assist with recovery and discharge, and support theatre and turnaround alongside ANAs and an SVN.

We offer a 34‑hour week across four days with some Saturday shifts. A competitive salary depends on experience, plus generous CPD, pension, and professional memberships.

Qualifications

• Two years post‑qualification experience required
• Excellent general nursing ability and strong customer service skills
• Cheerful, down‑to‑earth and genuinely interested in animal welfare

Responsibilities

• Admit patients, monitor anaesthetics, assist with recovery and discharge patients
• Support theatre, patient prep and turnaround with ANAs and SVN
