Vets for Pets in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small animal practice at Stechford, inside a Pets at Home store. You will admit patients, monitor anaesthetics, assist with recovery and discharge, and support theatre and turnaround alongside ANAs and an SVN.
We offer a 34‑hour week across four days with some Saturday shifts. A competitive salary depends on experience, plus generous CPD, pension, and professional memberships.

By joining us you will use your nursing skills to their full potential: admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting with recovery and discharging patients. You will also work with ANAs and an SVN to support theatre, patient prep and turnaround.
To apply you must be an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of two years post‑qualification experience, excellent general nursing ability and strong customer service skills. You should be cheerful, down‑to‑earth, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in animal welfare. Previous experience as a clinical coach or willingness to work towards this role is desirable.
This is a full‑time role working 34 hours per week across four days, with some Saturday shifts required.
