Job summary

Amery Veterinary Group is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Amery Vets on a full‑time basis. The role is primarily at our Alton site with travel to other branches; driving and a vehicle are required. 40 hours weekly, with a 1:3 Saturday rota.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care, work with vets, support patient care, and contribute to clinical standards while growing your skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Amery Vets on a full‑time basis. This role is primarily based at our Alton site but will include travel to our other branches, so the ability to drive and access to a vehicle is required.

Amery Veterinary Group is a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice with three sites across Alton, Bordon, and Grayshott.

Our Alton and Bordon sites are fully equipped for surgical and diagnostic work, while Grayshott provides a calm and welcoming consultation space. We’re proud of our loyal client base and the strong relationships we’ve built within our community.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 40 hours per week
• Working Monday - Friday between 8:15 - 7:30 pm, ideally across 5 days but we can consider 4 longer shifts for the right person
• 1:3 Saturdays 8:15 am - 1:30 pm
