Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in Brantham is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a full-time role at Highcliff Vets. You will join a 10-vet, 10-nurse team prioritising patient care and client experience, with a rotating 40-hour week across early to late shifts and 1 in 3 Saturdays, and no out-of-hours requirement.

You will run nurse clinics, monitor anaesthetics, assist with procedures, and support surgeons while expanding your nursing expertise within a collaborative primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Registration with the RCVS as a Veterinary Nurse is required or eligible.
• Clinical practice experience with medical and surgical nursing preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient-care orientation essential.
• Good organisational skills and workload management ability.
• Proactive learning attitude and commitment to development.

Responsibilities

• Run nurse clinics and health checks; deliver high-quality inpatient care.
• Monitor anaesthetics and assist with procedures as needed.
• Support veterinary surgeons and perform dental X-rays.
• Maintain focus on clinical nursing with no reception duties.
