Job summary

Wigmore Vets in Kent seeks an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an established team. You will work alongside two Veterinary Surgeons, eleven Registered Veterinary Nurses, and a support staff, delivering high-quality nursing care in a busy practice with in-house lab and digital X-ray facilities.

The role offers a balanced schedule: 4 days a week, 8:30am–6:30pm, plus some Saturday mornings. Training and development are supported within a collaborative, values-led culture.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with surgery and anaesthesia.
• Ultrasound and diagnostic imaging.
• Laboratory work and dental nursing.
• Inpatient care and client communication.
• Nurse consultations and triage under Veterinary Surgeon guidance.
