At Shaw Vets, we believe in supporting our team to be their best selves, which is why work-life balance is at the core of everything we do. We offer a standard full-time rota of 40 hours per week, typically spread over 4 or 5 days, with a Saturday morning shift from 8am - 2pm. What's more, there are no OOH shifts required in this role, ensuring you have more time to enjoy life outside of work.

Why Shaw Vets?

  1. Work-life balance: We understand the importance of maintaining balance for our team members.
  2. No OOH cover: Enjoy your evenings and weekends free.
  3. Flexible working: We are open to discussing part-time arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
  4. Exceptional clinical care: We are committed to providing the highest standard of patient care, with a focus on compassion and excellence in everything we do.

If you're ready to join a team where you can thrive, please get in touch to discuss your options further. We'd love to hear from you!

About Us

Join our friendly and dedicated team, currently made up of 4 experienced vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 5 receptionists. Together, we create a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone thrives.

Our clinic is dog and cat-friendly, with state-of-the-art facilities designed to provide the best care for our patients. These include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and a fully equipped theatre.

We are passionate about helping our team grow and develop. To support your professional journey, we offer additional training opportunities to help you advance in your career. For example, one of our vets is currently working towards an exotics certificate, and one of our nurses has completed a behaviour certificate.

We're also proud to announce that Shaw Veterinary Centre has passed the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme inspection at the highest level available to us, receiving glowing feedback from the Inspector.

If you're looking for a place where you can grow and be supported, Shaw Veterinary Centre is the place for you!
