We have a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Woodside Vets on a full‑time basis. We are also offering a £2000 welcome bonus to support you in your new role.

Woodside Vets are a welcoming mixed practice with three branches situated in the heart of Royal Deeside. This role will be based at our main practice in Torphins. The practice values the nursing team, with opportunities to expand skills through nurse consultations, CPD and additional areas of interest. Being part of a long‑established rural practice means building strong relationships with clients and their animals over time, with exposure to diagnostics, surgery, inpatient care, preventative healthcare and a wide range of procedures.

Our team currently comprises 8 Vets, 5 Nurses, and 11 Support staff. One nurse holds a certificate in nutrition and another is just finishing a certificate in surgical nursing. We do take students, so a Clinical Coach would be an advantage but we are happy to support training.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 37.5 hours per week
• Working 4 or 5 days per week
• 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 8:30am‑1:00pm, Sunday 10:00am‑1:00pm)
• No OOH or on‑call duties
