Job summary

Provost Vet Group in St Andrews is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a full-time position. You will join a modern, Cat Friendly Clinic and provide high-quality nursing care across a range of first opinion cases.

You will work closely with veterinary surgeons and the wider team, contributing to clinical standards and ongoing patient care development. The role includes a 4-day week, with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota and TOIL, and no out-of-hours work.

Our modern, purpose-built surgery is located in the beautiful seaside town of St Andrews with 2 branches in the local area. The practice is well-equipped with high standard facilities including 2 surgical theatres, dental suite, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, Imotek ultrasound machine and in-house lab. We have designated cat, dog and isolation wards and we are proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic. Further certification and career progression can be supported.

Ideally Located In The Heart Of St Andrews, Our Practice Is Within Easy Commuting Distance Of Several Major Towns And Cities, Including

• Dundee – approximately 30 minutes
• Kirkcaldy – approximately 45 minutes
• Perth – approximately 50 minutes

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working hours

• 40 hours per week
• Working 4 days per week
• 1 in 4 Saturday rota with TOIL
• No OOH requirement.
