Job summary

CVS Group UK’s Springfield Veterinary Centre in Hackenthorpe, Sheffield is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly team. You will promote pet wellness, monitor patients, and support recovery, while delivering compassionate care to pet owners.

The role offers a 4-day, 40-hour week with a 8:00–19:00 rota, one-hour lunch, and occasional Saturday work. CVS provides extensive CPD, RCVS fees paid, and a strong career pathway.

Springfield Veterinary Centre are seeking a RVN to join their fantastic, friendly team in Hackenthorpe, Sheffield.

Rota: 40 hours a week, 4 day week, 8:00 to 19:00 with 1 hour lunch. Wednesdays off 1 in 10 Saturdays 9:00 to 16:00. If you are seeking a different rota please get in touch.

Life At Springfield Veterinary Centre

We are a two-site practice with a varied caseload where no two days are the same! You will be working with a fantastic team of RVN's, Vets, SVN's and Receptionists who are passionate and dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. We have a caring, sympathetic and professional approach working closely with our patients and clients, this is reflected in all that we do. We are proud to be a part of the Springfield Veterinary Group, established in 1964. We are a very nice, experienced and supporting team, made up of 10 Nurses, 10 Vets and a long‑standing management team, where we all work as a family and take care of each other. Continuing professional development is a key focus, with all our vets and nurses striving to learn new skills. We are proud to be an approved training centre for veterinary nurses. Our skilled veterinary experts provide regular check‑ups, vaccinations, microchipping and more advanced procedures.

We also have access to the following at the other Springfield sites (5 in total):

• 24‑hour hospital with nights staffed by our own dedicated OOH team in Rotherham
• We offer AP referrals in surgery, medicine, cardiology and ophthalmology
• Hospital extended in May 2022 including installation of a CT scanner
• The Hospital was the second practice in the country to be awarded all 6 “Outstanding” RCVS awards
• Certificate holders in imagining, anaesthesia, ECC, surgery and dermatology within our Springfield Group
