Job summary

Vets4Pets Preston is seeking a compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team. This full-time role (40 hours over 4 days) includes Saturdays on a rota with no out-of-hours work, and offers a supportive environment with opportunities for clinical development.

You will lead patient admissions, monitor anaesthesia, assist with recovery and discharges, and support theatre and preparation tasks. A minimum of 3 years nursing experience and excellent customer service are essential.

About the Role

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week over 4 days), including Saturdays on a rota basis with no out-of-hours work. You'll join a passionate team of 2 vets, 2 nurses, 1 student nurse, 1 VCA and a supportive reception team. The role allows you to use your nursing skills fully, including patient admissions, anaesthetic monitoring, recovery, and discharges, with additional support for theatre and patient preparation.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of 3 years general nursing experience, great customer service skills, and a genuine passion for animal welfare. A cheerful and down-to-earth approach is a must.
