A leading veterinary practice in Solihull is seeking a dedicated veterinary nurse to join their team. The role involves general nursing duties, assisting vets, and promoting high standards of care. Permanent position: 40 hours + 1 in 4 weekends.
We are recruiting for a full time role but would consider job share. Our main practice at Solihull is open from 8am to 7pm and the rota reflects this. The branch sites are open 9am to 7pm. We also have our own separate team that provide an in-house night service covering 7pm to 8am, 7 days a week.
We have a great team at 608, a good mix of longstanding associates and more newly qualified, and often home-grown, nurses. Established for over 90 years, 608 Vet Practice offer primary care services for small animals and pets in the locations of Solihull, Acocks Green and Bentley Health. All our practices offer a full range of veterinary care, 24 hours a day seven days a week from our highly experienced team who strive to provide excellent quality veterinary care.
We are a busy practice so need the successful applicant to be keen to get stuck in. We have a nurse role scanner structure for our PCA & Nurse team that means you have definite goals for your career and the opportunity to discuss with your line manager how to move forward. We are part of Linnaeus, so future opportunities can be varied and well supported.
We believe that our nursing team should be allowed to work to the full extent of their license and are happy to provide the training and support needed to achieve this.
