Linnaeus is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse for Kings Veterinary Centre in Melton Mowbray. The role offers a full-time 40-hour week across four days, with early/late shifts and paid lunch breaks, in a brand-new hospital setting.

We seek an enthusiastic nurse, at least 1 year qualified, who is passionate about patient care and keen to develop skills. You will work with experienced vets and support staff to maintain high standards of nursing and client service.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least 1 year of experience.
• Passionate about high-quality patient care and client communication.
• Able to work across a 4-day, 40-hour week with shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Monitor anaesthesia, support surgical procedures and patient recovery.
• Work as part of a busy team with vets and support staff.

Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Kings Veterinary Centre, Melton Mowbray

Hours: Our full-time nurses work 40 hours over 4 days a week on an 8:00am - 6:00pm or 8:30am - 6:30pm shift pattern with paid lunch breaks. This allows for a good work life balance which is essential in maintaining the high demands of veterinary life.

Salary: From £31,200 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly and supportive team at our brand new Hospital in Melton Mowbray.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, at least 1 year qualified, forward-thinking and highly motivated nurse who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. You will enjoy working as part of a busy, fast-paced team, be confident in your nursing skills and keen to develop your knowledge and experience.

This is a hands‑on nursing role, offering the opportunity to work alongside our experienced vets, RVNs and support team to deliver the highest standards of patient and client care. You will be involved in all aspects of general nursing duties, including inpatient care, anaesthesia monitoring, nurse consultations, supporting surgical procedures and providing excellent care and attention to our patients throughout their stay.
