Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse

Job Location: Cromwell Vets Huntingdon

Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday 8 hour days ranging from 7.30am start to 9pm finish OR 4 day week 10 hour days. Weekends on rota.

Salary: From £28,000 per annum

With our six unique sites spanning the Huntingdon area, we are fortunate to be able to offer a varied caseload where nurses can fully utilise their skills alongside our vet team, many of whom hold certificates. Although some of our branches are smaller in scale to our main hospital site we pride ourselves in the continuity of care whatever door you walk through.

A Cromwell nursing role includes a wide breadth of nursing duties, incorporating the management of complex medical and surgical patients, consulting, assisting with the provision of anaesthesia and schedule III procedures, as well as supporting the patient journey from admission to discharge. Our veterinary surgeons appreciate and respect the nursing team, valuing their professionalism and input creating a working environment where everyone can thrive.

What we are looking for:

• Small animal RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least 1 year post registration experience
• A nurse looking to develop their skill set, especially in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Someone who is a clinical coach or willing to work towards this to coach Students and PCA's
• Passionate about providing a high standard of veterinary care
• Flexible hours for Part-time staff.
• Weekends on a rota with time back in lieu
• Bank holidays on a rota
• Nights are covered by our dedicated night team
