inspiring vet care in Chatham is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and support excellent client experiences.

You’ll work with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team across first opinion cases, with a varied caseload and opportunities for professional development. 40 hours per week, weekends and bank holidays, no OOH.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in a clinical veterinary setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Easipetcare on a full-time basis.

Our practice is home to a friendly and supportive team of 1 Veterinary Surgeon, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 5 Receptionists, a Practice Director, and a Practice Manager. We benefit from a varied medical and surgical caseload, with exposure to orthopaedic, cardiac, soft tissue, and diagnostic imaging cases through collaboration with visiting specialist clinicians. We pride ourselves on fostering a positive team culture, with a strong focus on collaboration, communication, and ongoing professional development.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 40 hours per week


• A fair share of weekends and bank holidays


• No OOH

General Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary surgeons with operations, diagnostics, and clinical procedures


• Work collaboratively across clinical and front-of-house functions to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice


• Conduct nurse consultations, providing patient care, advice, and follow-up support to clients


• Manage and dispense medications in accordance with practice protocols
