Job summary

North Downs Specialist Referrals (NDSR) is recruiting a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our day nursing team. The role offers a generous induction programme and relocation support to help you settle in quickly.

Shifts run 7:30am–8:30pm, Monday to Friday, with weekend duties once every six weeks, totaling 40 hours weekly. We provide 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, Birthday Leave, extensive CPD funded, and a supportive wellbeing programme to help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Full-time RVN with at least 1 year qualified.
• Willing to work 40 hours/week; shifts 7:30am–8:30pm; weekends every 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Join the day nursing team as a full-time RVN.
• Participate in a rotating shift pattern and provide high standards of care.

We are an internationally acknowledged referral centre of excellence for specialist veterinary care. Our RCVS accredited practice offers access to one of the largest groups of veterinary specialists within the UK and Europe. We are continuously aiming to provide the highest standards of medical and surgical care for our patients within a caring and compassionate environment.Our team consists of over 60 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) and 31 recognised specialists in surgery internal medicine, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, cardiology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging and anaesthesia.Your role and responsibilitiesWe require a full-time RVN over 1 year qualified to join our day nursing team.Shifts run between 7.30am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday, with weekend duties once every 6 weeks on a 40 hour/week basis.We have a team of night nurses, so there will be no regular night shifts.
