A leading veterinary clinic in Ayr is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their experienced team. The role offers opportunities for professional development, advanced equipment, and a supportive work environment. With a focus on teamwork and client care, this position is ideal for passionate individuals looking to make a difference in pet healthcare.
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a ‘little bit of extra’ to join our Ayr clinic. Our clinical team has a wealth of experience, and you will have the full support of two senior nurses, a clinical nurse manager, and our RVN business partner who ‘gets you’.
At Vets4Pets Ayr, we believe in the development of our nurses, as evidenced across our three practice team. We have nurses trained in acupuncture, pain management, behaviour, and schedule 3 surgical procedures. Our nursing team is empowered to excel—whether building client relationships through clinics, monitoring anaesthetics, or providing first-class patient care to in-patients. We also listen to our nurses, which is why we have invested in some advanced equipment—read on to find out more!
We have four partners across our three practices: two vets, an RVN, and a practice manager. This structure allows us to advocate for each role within our practices and sets us apart from our competitors. We understand and support you.
With fifty colleagues across three practices, we strive daily to deliver clinical excellence and create the best possible client experience. Our approach is rooted in teamwork and our core values: treating others as we wish to be treated, supporting each other, having fun, communicating effectively, encouraging growth, and maintaining work-life balance. We tailor our packages and rotas to each individual to make your experience personal.
Our team includes twelve Vets and twelve RVNs, bringing extensive experience—among them, 62 years’ worth of nursing experience in one practice alone! We have GPD-trained Clinical Leads and clinical coaches, reflecting our passion for training and development. We aim to be industry leaders and stand out from competitors.
If you’ve been qualified for some time, we want you to still have your nursing mojo, be passionate about the industry, and eager to make a difference. If you’re newly qualified, you should be keen to learn, progress, and demonstrate exceptional nursing skills. We value team players who aren’t afraid to get involved, bring energy, and create a positive environment—plus, enjoy a good team night out!
You will have access to advanced equipment such as a multi-parameter monitor, fluid pump, blood pressure monitor, and ultrasound. Our supportive team offers opportunities for career progression within our growing practices if you’re ambitious and eager to climb the ladder.
If you share our passion for outstanding pet healthcare and excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you. Please email Northvet@vets4pets.com for further information.
