Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is seeking an experienced MRICS Registered Valuer to join the Manchester team. You will lead valuations across diverse commercial assets and interact with clients, lenders, and professionals to deliver robust reports.

The role offers a hybrid structure with 2–3 days in the Manchester office and flexibility for the remainder. A strong valuation background and driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification with RICS Registered Valuer status required.
• Proven track record in commercial property valuation.
• Strong knowledge of Manchester and North West market.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake RICS Red Book valuations across office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties.
• Provide valuations for secured lending, loan security, acquisition, disposal, financial reporting, and portfolio reviews.
• Liaise with clients, lenders and professionals to understand instructions and deliver reports.
• Conduct site inspections and gather evidence to support valuation conclusions.
• Manage a caseload independently, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Support business development through client relationship management and new instruction opportunities.
• Mentor and support junior surveyors in the team where required.

Our client, a leading commercial property consultancy, is seeking an experienced RICS Registered Valuer to join their Manchester team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a valuation professional to work across a varied portfolio of commercial assets, delivering high-quality valuation advice to a strong client base across the North West and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake RICS Red Book valuations across a range of commercial property types (office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use)
• Provide valuations for secured lending, loan security, acquisition/disposal, financial reporting, and portfolio review purposes
• Liaise directly with clients, lenders, and other professionals to understand instruction requirements and deliver clear, well-reasoned reports
• Conduct site inspections and gather market evidence to support valuation conclusions
• Manage a caseload independently, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
• Support business development through client relationship management and identifying new instruction opportunities
• Mentor and support junior surveyors within the valuation team where required

Candidate Requirements

• MRICS qualified with RICS Registered Valuer status (essential)
• Proven track record in commercial property valuation, ideally within a consultancy environment
• Strong working knowledge of the Manchester and North West commercial property market
• Excellent report writing and client communication skills
• Able to work autonomously while managing a varied instruction pipeline
• Full UK driving licence
