Priory Hospital Dewsbury is seeking a registered psychologist at consultant level to work with the Head of Psychology in setting the service's strategic direction for rehabilitation, recovery wards, neurocognitive and dementia services. Part-time (22.5 hours/week) with negotiable hours, overseeing professional practice and quality across the department.

Responsabilités

• Deliver the strategic direction of the service with the Head of Psychology, presenting to hospital and senior leaders
• Ensure professional psychological practice and quality across the psychology department
• Support the development and delivery of behavioural and other psychological interventions for patients and service users
• Give psychologically informed guidance to reduce risk, aid recovery and promote independence
• Contribute to audit of services at the site and more broadly when asked
• Provide consultation to the Head of Psychology and senior managers as required
• Work within clinical and research governance initiatives
