Job summary

Priory Group Hospital Kemple View in Blackburn is seeking a HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist to join the Allied Health Professionals and Psychology team on a full-time basis. A Master’s degree with postgraduate accreditation is required, with BPS/ BABCP/BCP credentials preferred.

The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, delivering individual and group therapies, and collaborating with families to achieve positive client outcomes within our level 2 rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is mandatory.
• Chartership with the British Psychological Society (BPS) is preferred.
• A relevant Master’s degree with recognised postgraduate qualification and accreditation is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to referrals promptly with comprehensive assessments to understand client needs.
• Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions to support wellbeing.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions and adapt interventions to client goals.
• Collaborate with clients, families and carers to ensure meaningful therapy.
• Regularly review and evaluate therapy programmes to align with each client’s plan.
