Job summary

The Porch in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our General Practice team. You will deliver treatment room services, wound care and dressings, support respiratory care and administer vaccinations in line with current guidance.

You will work autonomously and as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing health promotion and patient education to our local community.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration and current practising status.
• Experience in general practice or primary care preferred.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

About the role: This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse with a current NMC registration who enjoys working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You will play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our patients, contributing to the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care. Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering treatment room services, including wound care and dressings.
• Supporting the management and monitoring of patients with respiratory conditions.
• Administering vaccinations and immunisations in line with current guidance.
• Undertaking clinical assessments and supporting long-term condition management, in line with your skills and competencies.
• Providing health promotion, patient education and preventative care.
• Working collaboratively with the wider practice team.

Hours and working pattern
