Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Fairfield Independent Hospital in St Helens is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Wards team on a 37.5 hour per week, permanent basis. The role requires flexibility to cover day and night shifts and deliver high-quality patient care in line with care plans.

The successful candidate will have NMC registration, clinical experience, and strong teamwork skills to support multidisciplinary colleagues and ensure patient safety across wards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Demonstrable experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in IT systems used for patient records and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans and observations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and carers, providing information and reassurance.
• Support patients in understanding their condition, treatments and recovery processes.
• Work with colleagues to provide high-quality, safe care.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns and risks per hospital procedures.

We have an opportunity for an Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in the Wards department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Candidates must be available to work both day and night shiift.

Duties Of This Role Include
