Job summary

The Harbour Hospital in Poole, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Wards team on a bank basis. This is a part-time, as-and-when-required role, offering an hourly rate up to £20 depending on experience and qualifications.

You will deliver direct nursing care, assess needs, maintain thorough records, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and compassionate patient care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Proficient in IT systems used for patient records and care planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and observations.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and carers, providing information, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Support patients in understanding their condition, treatments, and recovery processes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality, safe, and efficient care.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.

Salary: Up to £20.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in the Wards department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
